Dr Philip Bolton
PRINCIPAL DENTAL SURGEON
Philip qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital London in 1974. After several surgical training posts he went into private practice in London and the Home Counties before founding Oak Lodge Dental Practice in 1988.
Dr Bolton offers his patients all aspects of general dental care, specialising particularly in cosmetic dentistry and implants. He is also fully qualified to provide non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments.
Philip is dedicated to advancing his knowledge of all aspects of dentistry and maintains a heavy commitment to postgraduate education - you'll find him scattered across the country at training courses on any given weekend!
Having provided general dentistry for generations of families in the Liphook area, Philip holds the detail and quality of his patient care in the highest regard, striving to continually improve the Practice and its dedication to his ethos of distinction, patience and dilligence.

Debbie joined Oak Lodge in August 2014. She graduated in Dentistry from University College London in 1990 and completed her diploma in Dental Sedation, Advanced Local Anaesthesia and Anxiety Management at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital in 2004.
She is a caring and highly skilled dentist with a specific interest in cosmetic dentistry, smile design, periodontal disease. Debbie has accumulated 17 years' experience, leading an anaesthetic team and specialising in caring for anxious patients and extreme dental phobics.

Mr Ben Gurney
CONSULTANT ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON
Alongside working at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital, Ben joined Oak Lodge in 2017; providing a monthly clinic for oral surgical cases and facial aesthetic treatment.
He is dually qualified in Medicine and Dentistry, and is on the General Medical Council specialist list for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his early surgical training, he completed posts in units across the UK: in Edinburgh, Teeside, Sunderland, London and the South East of England.
His specialist training was completed at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Following specialist training, he completed an Orthognathic (Jaw Surgery) and Facial Trauma fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia.
Ben is committed to all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a specialist interest in wisdom teeth removal, corrective jaw surgery, skin cancer surgery/reconstruction and facial trauma surgery. Ben has an academic interest in sentinel node biopsy for head and neck melanoma.
He also undertakes routine oral surgery, pre-implant surgery and dental implant placement, jaw joint surgery and aesthetic facial surgery.
Ben strives to give an honest and considered opinion to his patients and is committed to providing excellent surgical care.

Drawing from her extensive experience in accounting and management, Christine is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all patients and to ensure that every visit to the practice is an enjoyable and comfortable one.
Christine prides herself on introducing innovation wherever possible, and ensures that staff are fully trained and happy in their jobs. She also provides dedicated co-ordination for complex treatment plans, guiding our patients through their treatment with efficiency and a smile!
Lisa qualified at Liverpool University Dental Hospital in 2007. In addition to her work at Oak Lodge Dental Practice, she has worked for Community Dental Services, treating children and patients with special needs.
Lisa currently works as a Clinical Tutor for the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy and has a strong commitment to further education, with interests in both restorative and periodontal therapies.

Anna qualified as a dental therapist and hygienist from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2016. Having studied under Lisa's tutelage, Anna is the perfect addition to our Therapy and Hygiene team, providing the same quality of care and fastidious practice, with just as big a smile!
Prior to working at Oak Lodge Anna was an Officer in the Royal Navy, making her our most disciplined and efficient team member, she works hard at keeping us all in order!

Joining in the summer of 2017 Hannah completes our Dental Therapy Team. She came extremely highly recommended by our therapist Lisa, having tutored her throughout her degree and been impressed with Hannah's clinical proficiency and excellent chair-side manner.
Her clinical interests include facial aesthetics and cosmetic smile makeovers and her background of over 10 years of dental nursing, including within a clinic specifically for anxious patients, has made her extremely talented in helping nervous patients gain confidence in the dental chair.
Outside of the practice Hannah can be found pursuing her passion for CrossFit, or snuggling up at home with her partner Carl and her two giant Maine Coon cats, Smokey and Lottie!

Jacquie qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1976 and regularly attends training courses to keep her education up to date. As a highly experienced hygienist, in addition to her monthly sessions at Oak Lodge Dental Practice, Jacquie also works at a specialist referral practice.
Jacquie is often in high-demand with our patients; her sense of humour and relaxed manner attracting our more nervous patients and creating a patient loyalty that we have dubbed the 'Jacquie-Effect'!

Julia qualified as a dental nurse in 1981 and joined Oak Lodge Dental Practice in 2007. She has previously worked in both community practices and for special care dental services. Julia is a dedicated nurse who is especially good at putting nervous patients at ease.
Julia has an astonishing knowledge of our clinical requirements and legislation, she is responsible for delivering and maintaining our outstanding clinical standards at the practice and ensuring we are working to best practice at all times.

Debbie joined Oak Lodge Dental Practice in 2009 to provide reception and administrative support. In summer 2011 Debbie successfully completed her Dental Nursing training and is now a fully qualified Dental Nurse.
Debbie is most definitely 'the smile' of Oak Lodge. Having been a resident of Liphook her whole life, our patients know and love Debbie's effervescent personality. And we find her laugh is just as contagious as her dedication to our patients.

Emma joined Oak Lodge in December 2013 as Practice Administrator and Receptionist, before rising quickly to become our Office Manager in 2015.
Emma successfully qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2013 and has found that possessing clinical knowledge has greatly aided her in helping to guide patients through their dental experience.
Having worked at almost every aspect of the practice, Emma knows Oak Lodge inside-out, she is often the first port of call, for staff and patients alike, when a question needs answering or a problem needs solving!
Abi joined Oak Lodge Dental in the summer of 2017, as a part-time Receptionist.
Having spent the last two years raising her son Eric and more recently, enjoying her wedding in Ibiza, Abi previously worked in her family's local gift shop, Peep Inside, located on the other side of the village.
Liphook, born and raised, Abi brings with her a wealth of local knowledge and is a welcomed, trusted and friendly face at the desk for many of our local patients.
Like the rest of our team, Abi has also come from a dental background. Having formerly worked as a Dental Nurse, her dental experience and knowledge is a huge help in reassuring our patients and supporting them throughout their experience here at the practice.
Abi will be at reception, welcoming you to the practice and helping you with any of your queries.
Emma joined the team in 2009 as our Accounts Administrator and helps to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes at the practice.
Having been a part of the team many years now, Emma knows Oak Lodge inside-out and besides her work in the Practice's accounts, Emma also supports Christine in the daily management of the business.
