Dental Hygienist with MSc in Advanced Periodontal Practice
Mohsin joined the team at Oak Lodge Dental in 2022. He trained as a Dental Hygienist at the Military School of Dental Hygiene, Aldershot and was awarded Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2012. He has also served in the British Army for 14 years.
He obtained an additional qualification of a BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Studies, which deepened his knowledge in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease, and thereafter completed a Master's (MSc) in Advanced Periodontal Practice from the University of Essex.
Mohsin works in tandem with the clinicians to treat the full spectrum of non-surgical periodontal disease cases. He has a gentle approach, always ensuring his patients are comfortable and well informed. Outside of the clinic, he is clinical lecturer at the University of Essex on MSc in Advanced periodontal Practice programme and is involved in teaching and mentoring for dental hygiene students at the University of Essex. He is also delivering CPD sessions to dentist and dental hygienists on the management of periodontal disease.
Away from dentistry, Moshin enjoys spending time with his children and is a keen cricket player.
